At İndex Denetim we prepare regular management reports for domestic companies and, for companies with foreign shareholders, statements in English in line with international financial reporting standards. The fact that two of our partners hold the title of independent auditor helps to structure the reports so that they are ready for audit.
Management reporting
We prepare reports on a monthly or quarterly basis, designed around the needs of your business. We keep the reports short, so that management can see the position in a few pages.
- Profitability for the period, compared with the previous period and with the budget
- Revenue and cost analysis by product, customer, branch or project
- Cash flow, receivables ageing and debt maturity schedule
- Key ratios: gross profit margin, working capital, leverage
- A short management note summarising the points that need attention
Reporting in a foreign language and in line with international standards
In companies with foreign shareholders, the parent company wants the results of the Turkish company in a form suitable for its own consolidation. Starting from the statutory records, we prepare the trial balance, balance sheet and income statement in English; where necessary we create adjustment tables showing the differences between the statutory records and Turkish Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and international standards.
Items treated differently in the statutory records, such as the provision for severance pay, provisions for unused leave, deferred tax and impairment of receivables, are the core topics of this work.
Reports for banks and investors
In situations such as a loan application, partnership negotiations or the sale of a company, presenting financial information consistently and with explanations directly affects confidence. We prepare your period financial statements with explanatory notes and, if needed, also consider with you the independent audit options for an independent review.
The basis of the work
Accurate reporting requires records to be kept in order. If we keep your accounts, the reports are prepared as a natural continuation of the monthly closing; if they are kept elsewhere, it is enough for us to receive your trial balance and the necessary listings regularly. Where your record structure is not suitable for reporting, we first recommend an accounting system set-up.
Who is it for?
- Company managers who want to base their decisions on monthly figures
- Companies reporting to a parent company abroad
- Businesses preparing for loan, investment or partnership negotiations
- Companies with several branches, projects or product groups
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a management report and the statutory balance sheet?
The statutory balance sheet is prepared according to tax legislation and the Uniform Chart of Accounts and is submitted to official authorities. A management report is aimed at decision-making; it shows the details management needs, such as profitability and cash position by product, branch or project.
Do you prepare financial statements in English?
Yes. We can prepare the trial balance, balance sheet, income statement and the necessary explanations in English. If your parent company uses a reporting format, we map your accounts to it.
Who needs reporting under TFRS or IFRS?
Reporting under these standards becomes relevant for certain companies subject to independent audit, companies providing information to a parent abroad for consolidation, and businesses where an investor or financial institution requests it. Which framework applies to you depends on your company's structure; we can clarify this together.
How often are management reports prepared?
For most businesses a monthly report is sufficient; some companies prefer a more comprehensive quarterly report. We decide the frequency and content together according to your needs.
