At our office in Nilüfer, Bursa, our SMMM (certified public accountant) partners and our accounting team keep your books in line with the legislation and file your returns on time.

Our founding partner has worked as a certified public accountant (SMMM) since 2003. Over this period we have taken on the financial affairs of businesses of different sizes and sectors, from sole proprietorships to companies, and from manufacturing to trade.

Besides filing your returns, our aim is that your records are up to date every month, that you can see your tax burden in advance and that you learn in good time about the regulatory changes that affect you.

Monthly accounting and bookkeeping

We record your purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, cash and current accounts regularly every month. Depending on the type of your business, books are kept on a balance sheet basis or on an operating account basis; if you are within the scope of the e-ledger (e-defter), we make sure the ledger certificates (berat) are generated on time.

Tax returns and notifications

The VAT return is filed by the 28th of the following month, and the combined withholding tax and social security return (muhtasar ve prim hizmet beyannamesi) by the 26th. Provisional tax is filed in three periods a year (17 May, 17 August, 17 November), the annual personal income tax return by the end of March and the corporate income tax return by the end of April. If the deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday, it moves to the next working day.

Before each return we tell you the amount of tax that will be assessed and remind you of the payment date. For current deadlines you can also see our tax calendar page (in Turkish).

Regulatory monitoring and advisory

We monitor changes in tax legislation, in particular personal income tax, corporate income tax, VAT and stamp duty, and explain separately those that affect your business. We also help you respond to information requests and similar official letters from the tax office.

  • Reviewing your contracts (lease, licence, dealership, share transfer, etc.) from a tax perspective
  • Preparing advance ruling (özelge) requests to the tax administration on uncertain matters
  • Calculating the tax effect of investment and financing decisions in advance

Frequently asked questions

How are accountants' fees determined in Bursa?

The fee depends on factors such as the type of company, the number of invoices and transactions per month, the number of employees and the use of e-documents. The minimum fee tariff set by the professional chamber is also taken into account. For a figure specific to your business, you can fill in the request a quote form.

I want to change my accountant. How does the process work?

You can change your accountant (mali müşavir) at any time during the year. The books, documents and copies of returns are taken over from your previous accountant, and the authorisations at the tax office and other institutions are transferred to the new accountant. During the handover we check the opening balances and report any gaps to you.

Which documents do I need to send each month for the accounting?

Paper purchase and sales invoices, expense documents, bank statements, cash movements and information on staff starting or leaving are needed every month. We can access a large part of your e-invoice and e-archive documents through the system. Sending the documents in the first week of the month makes it easier to prepare the returns.

Can I access my documents and tax returns online?

Yes. Through the online client portal we open for our clients, you can access your returns, tax assessments and the documents we share at any time.

Do you only work with businesses in Bursa?

We mainly serve businesses in and around Bursa, in particular Nilüfer, Osmangazi, Yıldırım, Mudanya, Gemlik and İnegöl. For foreign investors, we provide support throughout Turkey.
